    For site traffic you can use Google Analytics or any other website statistics platform, and that way the users don’t see those damn visitor counters in the footer with a message like, “You’re the 102’nth visitor in the last 5.2 years. Welcome!”. I’m sick of those sites, and it seems like romanian web developers/designers can’t get enough of them. As for the subject you picked on, Bogdan, let’s say that the article is a little bit off track from it. Website usability is not only about big, bright, bold call to action buttons, heavy and demanding lines like “Buy NOW”(or you’ll die), etc. because websites are not always about selling something. Usability is about semantics first of all, because not all of your users are 2-handed, 2-legged, 2-eyed, normal people. You could have visually impaired people visiting your site, using a screen reader, and then, the fancy images will do them no good without a proper “alt” attributes, your links will also serve a vague purpose without their “title” attribute etc. and this is just 0.025% of what I could say about usability.
