Today will learn how to backup our WordPress blogs using plugins. I have provided a list of plugins that I personal consider do the job quite well, but the list of WordPress backup plugins could continue so please share with us your preferred ones.
WordPress Backup plugins for your blog
This is rather a service than a plugin but does the job right. Unfortunately is not free, around 15$/month for a basic service that includes real-time backups, downloadable archives, stats, activity log, disaster recovery and other nice features. If you can afford this, I recommend it!
2. Backup and Move
This WordPress backup plugin allows blog administrators to create a complete backup of their blog and then with a simple and easy option to restore it on a different server, domain or location. This plugin is great for non-technical users who want to shift their WordPress blog.
This plugins allows you to backup your database in an easy manner. You can also include other tables in the backup if you need or want to.
4. WordPress Backup to Dropbox
This is one of my favorite plugins out there. This plugin was build up to give you a piece of mind that your blog is backed up on a regular basis. Some great options are provided like choosing the day, time and how often you with your site to be backed up.
By default the plugin is backing up your files and SQL dump of your database, but you can also set where you want your backup to be stored within Dropbox as well as choose what files or directories (if any) you want to exclude from your backup.
5. WP Complete Backup
WP Backup Complete is a easy to use and complete backup solution for WordPress. The plugin offers the ability to backup your blogs database as well as a complete file system backup. All backups are stored on the server in randomized server locations and are available for download. The plugin also offers a one-click button function to clear all stored backups.
If you know any other good WordPress Backup plugins, don’t hesitate to share.
